Once an award-winning musical display of LED Christmas lights raising thousands of dollars for charity
Huntersville Christmas Lights
Huntersville Christmas Lights was a free synchronized musical Christmas light show at our home in Huntersville, NC. The display contained over 21,000 LED lights and featured a 5’ video screen, LED Christmas lights, intelligent lights, color washing on the house and strobe lights all choreographed to Christmas music.
During the time the show was running, we won a national award for “Most Creative Display” three years in a row, and raised $6,502 for a local charity, A Child’s Place.
Huntersville Christmas Lights was located in Huntersville, NC. The 11 minute show ran nightly from 6pm to 10pm and the music could be heard on your car stereo on 89.3FM.
We offered these viewing tips below to our guests to ensure the best possible viewing experience for the maximum number of simultaneous viewers:
Parking
Our cul-de-sac can safely hold four cars. Please park side-by-side in-between the orange cones leaving space for four cars to fit as illustrated.
Viewing
Tune to 89.3 FM and turn your headlights off to see the lights and colors at their brightest.
Leaving
Once you have finished enjoying the show, please pull through to the left so the next car waiting behind you can pull into your space.
Waiting
If the cul-de-sac is full with four cars, the line starts under the street light and runs down the hill of Melrose Meadow Lane. Once one of the four parking spots opens up, pull into the spot and enjoy the show.

A Child's Place
While the light show was running, we collected donations for A Child’s Place, a local charity that works to erase the impact of homelessness on children and their education. They provide stability within the classroom for homeless, at-risk students while also assessing and strengthening their families to remove barriers that led to their homeless crisis.
To provide this critical support to students in crisis, A Child’s Place counts on donations from people like you. One hundred percent of your donation will go to A Child’s Place and stay within the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community.
In the two years we collected donations, we raised $6,502 for A Child's Place.
